Linda Catherine Underwood

Linda Catherine Underwood, 63, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011. She was born October 30, 1947 to Robert and Virginia Doran Sharpe in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan.

She married John Underwood on September 2, 1967 and together they spent 22 years in the Air Force living in Michigan, New York, Florida, Texas, Guam, Nebraska, Missouri, and California, finally settling in Utah.

Her hobbies were her husband, grandkids, kids, crafts, friends and sports especially the White Sox.

Linda is survived by her husband, John, and daughters: Dawn Grennell, Michelle Thompson, Theresa Underwood and Brandi Huckaby; 11 grandchildren: Michael Grennell, Thomas Grennell, Mathew Grennell, David Grennell, Benjamin Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Christopher Underwood, Rebecca Underwood, Amber Huckaby, Autumn Huckaby, and Steve Huckaby; four brothers: Mike, Pat, Matt and Mark Sharpe; and six sisters: Crystal McVicker, Anita Sharpe, Alicia Speeney, Karen Mendoza, Bonnie Gutleber, and Jenny Sharpe.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Friday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. prior to services at the mortuary.
