Linn Don Faus Linn Don Faus, 44, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at his home in Layton, Utah. He was born January 26, 1965 in Columbia City, Indiana the son of Adrian Dean and Carolyn Linn Faus. Linn married Susan Julia Good on June 5, 1993 in Nampa, Idaho. Linn spent 10 years of honorable active duty service in the United States Air Force as a Ground Radar Craftsman during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science, Magma cum Lauda, with honors from the University of South Carolina School of Engineering. Linn served nine years as an electrical engineer with the Air Force at the Ogden Air Logistics Command, 509 Software Maintenance Group, Hill Air Force Base. He was stationed in Nevada, Idaho and South Carolina. Linn had many friends around the world. He made a difference. He enjoyed computer and video games. Surviving are his wife Susan Good Faus of Layton, Utah; mother Carolyn Faus and step-father Godoy Tosh of Bluffton, Indiana; sister-in-law Belle Ross and brother-in-law Larry Ross of North Carolina. Preceded in death by his father Adrian Dean Faus, mother-in-law Beatrice Good, father-in-law James Good, a niece and nephew. Thanks to the Layton Davis County Police and EMS, all the many people that brought in food, helped and prayers. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 7 p.m. at Bluffton, Indiana Goodwin Memorial Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the chapel.
