Lisa Hodges

Lisa G Hodges was born on August 6, 1965 to Robert and Joan Gwynn of Salt Lake City, Utah. Lisa left this world way too soon on December 17, 2016. Lisa lived in Utah all her life but she wanted to travel and see the world. Now the places she will go!

Lisa although not a member of the Bountiful Lions Club, you would never know it the way she looked forward to the turkey shoot all year. She talked about it all the time. She loved volunteering and helping her uncle Wayne whom made her feel important. Lisa loved the outdoors and everything associated with it. Fishing was her favorite and the day she could get her new fishing license was always a good day. Lisa loved sports San Francisco 49ers and the Utah Utes were her favorite football teams her loyalty never wavered no matter how the season went she was a true-blue fan. Lisa also loved baseball and hockey she spent a lot of time at the baseball fields with Mathu and she loved every minute of it.

Lisa sadly leaves behind three children Robert and Donald Lindahl and Mathu Hodges, three grandchildren whom she loved more than life Makayla, Jocelyn and Rory.” Aunt Lisa “will also be greatly missed by Mr. B, Stanley and the rest of the family as she was such a big part of their daily lives. Sunday diner will never be the same. Meagan and Alivia she adored both of you more than you will ever know. Lisa was very loyal to those that were loyal to her and she loved to help people and always wished she could help more. Lisa overcame a lot of obstacles and hardships in her life and she kept fighting. Lisa will be missed more than she will ever know we would love to thank everyone for all of the love and concern and support shown by everyone.

We would also like to thank Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary for their exceptional service and care at this hard time.

Services will be held Thursday December 22, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bountiful Stake Center 350 North 55 East North Salt Lake, with a family dinner to follow.
