Lisa Ann Pirtle
NORTH OGDEN – Lisa Ann Thorsted Pirtle, 33, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 23, 2007.
She was born October 13, 1974 in Ogden, a daughter of Richard William and Linda Dallinga Thorsted.
On October 6, 1995, Lisa married Jesse LeGrand Pirtle in Ogden. Their marriage was solemnized in the Bountiful LDS Temple on October 12, 1996.
She was raised and educated in North Ogden where she graduated from Weber High School. She also received an Associates Degree from Weber State University in nursing.
Lisa loved her Savior and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Relief Society and the Primary in various callings.
She worked as a nurse at McKay-Dee Hospital.
Lisa loved her family. Jesse and her boys were the light of her life. She enjoyed camping and hiking and was a member of the Summiteers in Pleasant View. She loved to serve and was so thoughtful of others. Lisa enjoyed making scrapbooks and crafts, and cherished the family and friends she had.
Surviving are her husband Jesse and three sons, Robert, Shaun and Aaron Pirtle, all of North Ogden; her parents, Richard and Linda Thorsted, North Ogden; three brothers, Matthew (Alison) Thorsted, South Ogden; Nathan (Amanda) Thorsted, Farr West; Christopher (Stacie) Thorsted, Ogden; Jesse’s family whom she loved; and 13 nephews and nieces whom she adored.
Also surviving are her grandparents, Chester Thorsted, Roy; John R. and Wanda Dallinga, Washington Terrace.
Preceding Lisa in death were her grandmother, Arva Thorsted, and her mother-in-law, Tonia Pirtle.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the North Ogden 2nd Ward Chapel, 770 East 2100 North.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday at the Ward Chapel 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
