Lizette Stuart Hansen

Lizette Stuart Hansen, age 102, passed away in Layton, Utah on April 25, 2022. Lizette was born on October 26, 1919, in Ogden, Utah to David Calvin Stuart and Emily Mumford Stuart.

Lizette attended and graduated from Ogden High School. After she married Morris Hansen, they moved to Salt Lake City, then to Ogden, and for the last 70 years made their home in Syracuse. They had two children, David and Judy. Lizette was a bookkeeper for Hansen Inc., the family business, from its inception to its closing. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lizette is survived by her son, David (Kathy) Hansen; daughter, Judy Meibos; three grandchildren, Wendy, Claire, and Katie; five great-grandchildren, Jake, Zach, Adam, Taylor, and Ethan; and two great-great-grandchildren, Cooper and Capri.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings; husband, Morris Hansen; and son-in-law, Eldon Meibos.

Graveside service will be held Friday, April 29, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Syracuse City Cemetery, 1250 South 1000 West, Syracuse, Utah. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary.
