Lloyd B. Archuleta (Archie) 72, quietly passed away in his home with his family at his side on Sunday, May 22nd 2011.

He was born on August 1, 1938 in Saguache, Colorado, to Richard and Genoveva Archuleta. He married Della Padilla, February 11, 1961. They had just recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Lloyd proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, and later retired from Hill Air Force Base where he worked as an aircraft mechanic and later in management for 36 years.

He loved golfing and watching all sports especially football, he spent many days with his family cheering on the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife. He was a great man who loved his family more than anything in this world; he taught his children how to live by actions not words. "I am who I am, I know who I am, and that is all that matters". The way he worked, laughed, and played you would never have known he was battling cancer. He continued to show us how to care with strength, courage and love. We love you so much and will miss you, until we meet again.

Lloyd is survived by his wife Della, of Clearfield Utah, and children Claude (Elaine) Archuleta, West Haven, Monica (Ron) Inouye, Clearfield, Andrew (Cali) Archuleta, Ashburn, Virginia, and grandchildren, Ashton J Archuleta, Logan B (Brooke) Archuleta, Anthony J Archuleta, Ciera C Archuleta, Tyler E Moore, Jayci J Cammack, Ryker R Moore, Saydi A Archuleta, Jerzi P Archuleta, great grandchildren Raygun L Archuleta, Cache L Archuleta, brothers, David (Dolores) Archuleta, Jerry (Glenda) Archuleta, sisters, Eva Kaess, Augustina (Hyman) Wong, Delores (Dennis) Santistevan.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Genoveva Archuleta, brothers, Danny Gallegos, Dick Archuleta, Albert Archuleta, Dennis Archuleta, Anthony Archuleta, sister, Jean Lovato. Special thanks to Dr. Gray and dad''s special angels, Marissa, Jena, Michelle, Carolyn and Lisa.
