Lloyd Allen Ramsey "Together Again"

Lloyd Allen Ramsey, 76, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012. He was the son of Jack and Katherine Venstra Ramsey, born on June 30, 1935 in Ogden.

After graduating from Ogden High School, he joined the Marines. He moved to California where he met the love of his life, Kay Anthony. Lloyd and Kay were married on August 15, 1957 in Montebello, California.

Lloyd was a member of the Presbyterian Church where he served for a number of years as an Elder. He worked and retired from Hill Air Force Base as an Engineering Tech.

He loved teaching and playing games with children. His greatest passion was golf. Lloyd loved taking a dime from his brother, Bob and best friend, Don while playing golf. He especially cherished spending time with his family and friends at his second home in Bear Lake. Our dad always took us hunting, fishing and camping, we loved it. Lloyd was an artist when it came to the fine wood working of Intarsia.

Dad we will miss you, but now you are with mom and will always be by her side, which is where you should be since you two loved each other more than words can tell.

Lloyd is survived by his son, Chad, Ogden; daughter, Beth (Tom) Bowers, Richmond, Virginia; and grandchildren, Hannah and AJ; and brother, Robert (Teresa).

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and sister, Marian Judd.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
