Logan Emily Rogers, 20, of West Haven passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, September 15, 2008.
Our precious girl was born November 12, 1987, with special needs and special gifts.
Unable to communicate with words, Em spoke volumes with her coos and laughter. She lit up a room with her smile, especially when her mom was near.
Em enjoyed life''s simple pleasures a" bubble baths, lotion rubdowns and gentle tickles. She was content sitting quietly, intently examining a small book. She also had a mischievous side. Em enjoyed tossing her toys and household objects across a room and she was known to pinch and pull the hair of those she loved most.
She loved her brothers and always giggled when they sang her nursery songs a" "Pop Goes the Weasel", was one of her favorites. Em attended North Park Elementary School, where she enjoyed school very much. A special thanks to all students and staff for their friendship, care and support. Em was tiny, but she knew how to give big hugs. Her kind and gentle spirit melted the hearts of everyone she met. Em you will be deeply missed and in our hearts forever. We love you so much. You brought 20 years of joy to our lives.
Em is survived by her parents, Lance and Stacy Rogers; brothers, Kipp and Dane, all of West Haven; grandparents, Charlie and Marilyn Chatlin, of Roy; Hirsch and Shirley Endo, of Clinton; and Mike and Chris Rogers, of Kaysville. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her dearly.
