Lois Weaver Bodily

Lois Weaver Bodily, age 83, passed away peacefully in the morning hours of Saturday, December 29, 2007.

She was born April 2, 1924 in Ogden, Utah to Porter Vernon and Gladys Martha Bowcutt Weaver.

Lois married Phay K. Bodily on September 23, 1944 in Ogden. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on February 8, 1951. They together had three beautiful children, Gary, Diane and Nancy. She was an active member of the Layton Park Ward.

She liked cooking, canning, telling people about their birth signs, playing cards, health foods, and reading novels.

Preceded in death by her husband Phay, her two daughters, Diane and Nancy, sister Donna Coletti and brother Jay Weaver.

Surviving are her son Gary Bodily, Sandy; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother Dean Weaver, Auburn, CA; and sister Cheryl Evertson, South Jordan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
