Lois Hope Frost Cude
OGDEN – Lois Hope Frost Cude passed away peacefully into the waiting arms of her father, mother and husband, on Thursday, December 11, 2008, bidding farewell to the loving family in her attendance.
Lois was born April 18, 1925 in Ogden, to Lawrence and Emma Molly Frost.
On April 3, 1943, Lois married James Robert Cude, Sr. Jim passed away January 31, 1993.
Lois worked various jobs in her lifetime including Defense Depot Ogden, Lee Brown Packing, Co., and managing her own collection agency.
She was a championship bowler for many years. But the job she did best and loved the most was making people happy. Her zest for having fun and her never ending sense of humor will never be forgotten.
Surviving are her son, James R. Jr. (Julie) Cude, Ogden; three daughters, Cookie (Kent) Wolverton, Ogden; Cindi (Dale) Campbell, Ogden; Carol Cude, Reno, NV; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Lois is also survived by one brother, Robert (Marge) Frost, Clearfield; two sisters, Sandra (Jim) Tasker, Rigby, ID; and Velda (Bruce) Warren, Taylorsville.
Lois was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Frost, Vernon Frost, and one sister, Katherine, who preceded her in death on November 22, 2008.
Lois left us with an eternity of wonderful memories that will helpfully fill the emptiness in our hearts, knowing she is free from pain and anguish to once again enjoy precious time with those who have been waiting for her arrival. We’ll miss you LoLo.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Del Palmer officiating.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
