Lois Yvonne Pugmire Flaig, 87, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 of natural causes.

She was born on October 14, 1924 to Robert M. and Hilde Petersen Pugmire in Pocatello, Idaho, where she grew-up and attended school. On October 14, 1945, her 21st birthday, she married Paul LeRoy Flaig in Pocatello, Idaho. Paul and Lois moved to Ogden, Utah in 1947. In 1955, Paul and Lois moved to Riverdale where she has resided until her passing, even after losing the Love of her live on April 6, 1980. Paul passed away on April 6, 1980.

Lois was very proud of the fact that she had the wonderful experience of working on B-24''s and B-17''s as a propeller mechanic during World War II. Lois retired from the Ogden Board of Realtors where she worked for 30 years. Following her retirement, Lois volunteered at the Ogden Regional Medical Center Gift Shop, where she was honored for her many years of service.

Both Lois and husband, Paul, were life-long members of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Roy, Utah, where Lois was fortunate to have loving friends'' throughout her life. She loved to sing in the choir and spent many years as the author of the church newsletter.

Lois is survived by two sons, Richard (Sharon) Flaig, and Paul (Janda) Flaig; Five grandchildren, Melissa (Tim) Zampedri, Jennifer (Bertt) Mosher, Krystin (Alex) Amaya, Kaylynn Boren (Chris Johnson), Karlee Savannah Flaig; Five Great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Coleton Zampedri, Alayna Mosher, Camryn and Layla Amaya. She is also survived by her brother, Robert (Evelyn) Pugmire.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul L. Flaig and son, Robert O. Flaig; her parents Robert and Hilde Pugmire, her sister Arlette "Lettie" Croshaw, and as well as son, Logan and daughter Paula who were lost too early in their infant lives.

The family would like to express special thanks to all those at Access Home Care and Crestwood Care Center for the loving care and support they provided.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
