Lois Alice Hodson Fullmer

Lois Alice Fullmer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home, in the loving arms of her daughter and son-in-law, on Sunday, February 8, 2015.

She was born December 10, 1925 in Layton, Utah to William and Annie Cook Hodson.

She spent her childhood growing up in Layton, later moving to Clearfield, Clinton and Liberty.

She married Melvin Fullmer on May 19, 1945 in Layton, Utah. They are the proud parents of four children, Terry, Kent, Lynn and Sandy.

Lois was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Primary and Visiting Teaching.

She retired from Albertsons after 35 years as a Bakery Manager.

Her favorite things to do was filling in crossword puzzles, going out to eat with family and friends, watching old movies and especially watching the “Golden Girls”. She loved family home evenings with her daughter and her family. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her favorite saying was “Love ya, Love ya”.

She is survived by two sons, Kent (Sherry) Fullmer, West Point; Lynn Fullmer, Roy; daughter Sandy (Randy) Dalton, Liberty; daughter-in-law Cheryl Fullmer, Ogden; brother, Bill Hodson, Ogden. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Mel, son Terry, her parents William and Annie, two brothers Garold and Layne Hodson, and one sister Birdeen Thompson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, West Point Cemetery.
