LAYTON a€" Lois Hirschi Griffin, 81, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2007.

She was born January 1, 1926 in Montpelier, Idaho the daughter of William and Anna Kunz Hirschi.

Lois married Ben T. Griffin on July 2, 1949 in Twin Falls, Idaho. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1997.

Surviving are three daughters, Kaye (Dennis) Barker, Layton; Jan Backus, Layton; Hollie (Larry) Stark, Hooper; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and one sister, Donna Reading, Logan.

Preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2007 at the Clarkston, Utah Cemetery.

Friends and family may call Thursday from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
