Lois Barton Jensen

July 20, 1932 ~ June 29, 2015

SUNSET - Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Lois Barton Jensen passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2015 at age 82. She was born on July 20, 1932 to Spencer James Barton and Effie Annie Anderson in Kaysville, Utah.  Lois married Clifton Larmor Jensen on May 1, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have two children, Larry Clifton Jensen of South Weber, and Ranette Brower of Clearfield, six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren that she adored.  Lois was raised in Kaysville, Utah and was a proud graduate of Davis High.

Lois and Cliff have been active members of the Sunset community for 60 years where she was a member of the Sunset 2 ^nd Ward and served faithfully as a primary teacher for many years. She loved visiting with people and always made everyone feel special. Being with her family was her passion and she never tired of playing with her grandchildren and attending all of their special events.

Lois is survived by her sister, Janet Ferguson, and was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, and mother and father-in-law.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary; 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
