Lois Ann Jones

1934 – 2018

Bountiful, Utah – Lois Ann Jones, age 83 passed away January 25, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.

Lois was born April 25, (or for most of her life, understood her birthday to be April 28), 1934 in Provo, Utah to George Andrew Morley and Ann Lillian Krmpotic.

She has always been the heart of our family with her positive attitude and sweet spirit. Mom has recently struggled through countless physical trials but has shown us, by example, how to be strong and not give up.

Mom was always making friends wherever she went. She loved to winter in Arizona and enjoyed golfing, playing cards, watching Jazz basketball and loved to visit with her friends on the patio.

She loved to be around her family and was always attending programs, games and performances of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family was everything to her.

She is survived by her two sons, Tom Jr. (Shanda), Gary and her daughter Debbie Olsen (Ben).  She leaves behind her legacy in many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 1 great grandson that will be born in July.

She is preceded in death by her sweet husband, Tom, her parents, Andy and Ann Morley, her brother, George Morley, grandson Toby, and numerous aunts, uncles and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E., where friends may visit family Friday Feb. 2nd from 6–8 p.m. and Sat. 10:00-10:45 am prior to services.  Graveside services will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1640 E. Lakeview Dr. Bountiful following the service.

The family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to Legacy Healthcare and specifically Stephanie Reed, for the love and kindness she showed mom in her last days. You were an angel to our angel.

In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting contributions be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah, 771 East Winchester, Murray, Utah 84107, or Primary Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 6935, Salt Lake City, Utah 84158 in mom’s name.
