Lois Mae Kerr

Lois M. Kerr SOUTH OGDEN – Lois Mae Kerr, 82, passed away Friday, October 19, 2007 in Ogden. She was born May 11, 1925 in Elk Grove, Illinois, a daughter of Henry and Ida Burmester Wille. On December 31, 1943, Lois married her childhood sweetheart, Robert John Kerr, and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage. They had four children. Robert preceded her in death on July 22, 2004. She worked as an administrator in the California School System prior to her retirement. Lois will be remembered for the three rules she lived by: Love, Generosity and Charity. She was a wonderful wife and grammy. Surviving are her children, Robert John Jr. (Terri) Kerr, Karen (Robert) Mechem, Kallen Patrick (Mary) Kerr, and two grandchildren, Barbara and Samuel. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jean. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., with Pastor Gary Trickey of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Family will meet friends at the mortuary on Monday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. The family sincerely thanks Mt.
