Lois E. Moore
WASHINGTON TERRACE – Lois Evelyn Liddell Moore, 71, died Thursday, November 6, 2008 at her home from complications of liver failure.
She was born April 14, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of David W. and Alice Gertrude Pont Liddell. She lived in the Ogden area most of her life attending Ogden High School and the A.T.C.
Lois married Donald D. Moore on May 27, 1955 in Laramie, Wyoming. They were later divorced.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints served in most every calling in the church including Young Women’s Stake President, Relief Society President, Scouting, Primary, etc.
Our Mom was the best homemaker ever. She also enjoyed golfing, playing the piano and organ, swimming, going on rides to take in the scenery, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She never missed an event her children and grandchildren were involved in.
Surviving are two sons and three daughters, Kurt (Lori) Moore, Kraig (Toni) Moore, Keri (Mike) Mathieu and Kellie (Herschel) Nay, all of Ogden; Kris Moore, Layton; 11 grandchildren, Bailey, Kurt Jr., McKinlee, Boston, Kolby, Korey, McKael, Kensie, Shelise, Jennie, Jennifer; and seven great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are one brother and three sisters, Julie Liddell, Steven Liddell, Muriel Rhodes and Dawn Brinkerhoff.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Liddell.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
