Emma Lois Morrill Steab
On July 22, 2017 our dear mother, Emma Lois Morrill Steab, returned to her Heavenly Home. The daughter of Melvin John Morrill and Cornelia Ann Day, she was born in Cedar City, Utah on March 9, 1932. She married Harold Frank Steab on April 18, 1952 in Lewistown, Montana and lived most of her life in Kaysville, Utah.
Lois was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in a variety of callings throughout her life. She loved to crochet, embroidery, hand quilt, and to collect recipes. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lois is survived by her sons; Melvin. Curtis, (Janeen), Ken (Suzanne), John (Julie), Dave (Jean), and her daughter: Laura J. Goode, seventeen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren, her brother; Richard (Beryl) Morrill, and sister; Velda Harding. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and son Mark Steab, three brothers; Jack Morrill, Grant Morrill, Ken Morrill, and sister; Wanna Williams.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville 15th Ward Chapel, 555 North 100 East, Kaysville, Utah. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
