Lois K. Vincent
March 23, 1928 ~ July 12, 2017
Lois passed away after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Salt Lake City to Afton James and Margareta Kroll.
She graduated from Granite High School, where she met her future husband, Bill. They were married March 18, 1950, living most of their life together in Layton. With Bill’s employment they had the opportunity to live in California, Texas, Ohio and England. Together they raised four children of whom they were very proud. Family was always important to them. They always opened their home to those in need.
Lois was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, world traveling, camping, socializing and was always the life of the party. She was a member of the LDS Church and was involved in her community. Lois and Bill ushered at the Layton Amphitheater for several years and enjoyed every moment.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Bill, brother and two sisters, great-grandson, Corbin. She left behind a sister Beth; her children, Dan (Liz), Jon (Colleen), Ellen (Scott) Anderson, Ryan (Laurie), eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Fairfield Village for all their loving care.
