Lois Barlow Young

CLEARFIELD – Lois B. Young, 93, returned to all of her loved ones in our Heavenly Fathers Kingdom on April 11, 2008. She was born August 8, 1914 in Clearfield, UT to Ianthus H. Barlow Jr. and Marguerite E. Patterson. Lois married John E. Young May 17, 1933; the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on October 28, 1936. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. We all loved her very much and will miss her forever. Lois is survived by her husband, John of 75 years (May 17, 1933 you almost made it the love of my life). Her children are LaRae Spencer (Howard) Wendover, NV; Lois Chalker (Howard), Surfside, WA; John W. Young (Patricia), Clearfield, UT; Brent B. Young (Kathleen), Nantucket, MA; 12 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and one sister, Marguerite Adams. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Lois Ann, sister, Mildred Taylor, brothers, Howard and Dale Barlow, and one great-grandson. The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful caregivers at Country Pines, Clinton, UT and Health Watch and Caring Hands of Hospice, 3579 North 2175 East Layton, UT. They are all truly angels of God.
