Lola Janet Deveraux

Lola J. Deveraux, age 99, passed away peacefully Monday, December 28, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Roy.

She was born in Ogden, Utah to Elias and Lola Dean Call.

Lola married Roy Wayment Rose in 1936 in Ogden, Utah. From this union their daughter, Dixie, was born. Roy preceded her in death in 1944. Lola was later sealed to Roy for time and eternity in the Bountiful LDS Temple.

She then married Edward Krull in 1946. They lived in St. Louis, Missouri until his death in 1978. She married Vern Deveraux in 1986 and he preceded her in death in 1992.

Lola enjoyed ballroom dancing, traveling and the game show, Jeopardy.

She is survived by her daughter, Dixie Fay (Roger) Reischauer, grandchildren, Janet (Garth Neal) Hutzley, Jill (Leonard) Haupt and David (Amy) Reischauer, six great-grandchildren, and sister, Venita (Jack) Russell. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, brothers Malynn (Hank), and Joseph, sisters Euola Fay, Letha and her identical twin, Lila.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
