Lola Fielding Nalder

Lola F. Nalder, 82, passed away peacefully at her daughter''s home Thursday, May 12, 2011 surrounded by her loving family, after an intense, but valiant two day bout with Leukemia.

Lola was born November 1, 1928 in Syracuse, Utah to Elmer and Silverine Waite Fielding.

She was married to Stephen Emmett Nalder in 1946, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They resided in Layton most of their lives until moving to South Weber in 2006.

Lola was a member of the LDS Church and faithfully served in many callings including a mission to the Pittsburg, PA Mission and many years as Temple Workers. She also served as State and Local Commander of the DAV Aux.

She loved life, her family and friends and was a blessing to all. She was an accomplished seamstress and worked many years at ZCMI Alterations.

She is survived by her three children Stephen J. (Christine), Roy; Terry G. (Nancy), CO; Silvia (Sam) Stanger, South Weber; 15 grandchildren, and a great posterity who love and will miss her. Also brothers Darvell and Ronald Fielding, and a sister Melba Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by husband, parents, son Kent J. Nalder, sister, Gwelda Hoskins, brother, Wayne Fielding, grandson Cecil Kim Stanger, and a great-great-granddaughter Khylan Shaw. She is now enjoying a great reunion with all her many family and friends.

The family would like to thank Sandy, Janette, Earl, Lavon and her many caring friends who made her life so full.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 16, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the South Weber Chapel, 1401 E. South Weber Dr. Friends may visit family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the church.
