Lonnie R. Clontz

Our beloved husband, son, brother, father and grandfather, Lonnie R. Clontz, 59, passed away peacefully Friday, March 26, 2010 at his home.

He was born August 25, 1950 in Ogden, Utah to Allen Russell and Dorothy Hamblin Clontz. He was raised and educated in Roy, Utah and graduated from Roy High School.

Lonnie proudly served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War.

He worked in construction throughout his life.

In 1994, he married June Forsberg in Sunset, Utah.

He loved to camp, fish, hunt and spend time with his loved ones and friends.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, June; two sons, Michael (Kayla) Jones, South Ogden; David (Sandy) Jones, Roy; a daughter, Christy Jones Trussell, Riverdale; five grandchildren, Korey, Randy, Maya, Chloe, Jacob; his mother, Dorothy; a brother, Stanley (Pat) Clontz, Roy; and a sister, Jeanne (Eldon) Fackrell, Roy.

He was preceded in death by his father, a beloved son, Wade, two grandsons, Andrew, Isaac, and his in-laws, Duwayne and Doris Forsberg.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 30th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

The family will meet friends for a viewing preceding the graveside services from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
