Lora Anna Favero, 95, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023. She was born on April 4, 1928, in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of Emil and Diletta Morelli. She was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School Class of 1946.
She married August G. Favero on April 3, 1948. “Gus” and Lora managed the family farm and were always working together. After 56 years of marriage Gus passed away on September 29, 2004.
Lora was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren; they brought her great joy. Lora was an amazing homemaker and cook. She will be remembered for the many stories and quotes that she often shared.
Lora is survived by her children, David E. (Jeaninne) Favero, Anna Marie (Randy) Giordano, August “Dean” (Nancy) Favero, Thomas V. “Tom” (Tina) Favero, and Andrew S. (Jacqueline) Favero all of Ogden; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus; grandsons, Matthew D. Favero and Philip L. Giordano; her parents; and sister, Dena M. Larsen.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 5 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
