Lorena Arroz Wilson
Lorena Arroz Wilson entered into rest on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born October 10, 1967 to Leonardo and Mary Sumadia Arroz in San Juan, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Lorena Married Johnny L. Wilson on Dec 20, 2003 in Laie, Hawaii LDS Temple.
Lorena lived in San Juan, Philippines; Bacolod City, Philippines; Cavita, Philippines; Singapore, Laie, Hawaii; Makakilo, Hawaii; Petersburg, VA; Clinton, UT and Grovetown, GA.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a missionary, teacher and a disciple of Christ friend to all she met. She was a graduate of BYU in Hawaii.
Lorena enjoyed homemaking, cooking, all crafting and making our home a heaven on earth.
Lorena was preceded in by her parents, Leonardo Arroz and Mary Sunadia; sister, Merna Alojepan; father-in-law, Earl Wilson; brother-in-law, Raymond Earl Wilson.
Survivors include her loving husband, Johnny L. Wilson; brother, Efriam Arroz; three sisters, Cecilia Daanoy, Amilia Mones and Jimema Pinto; mother-in-law, Mary Hovey; brothers-in-law, Gary Dean Wilson and Bryan Thomas Wilson; sisters-in-law, Connie Jean Hovey and Mary Ann Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at the Clinton North Stake Center, 1800 North 1500 West. Friends and family may call Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 North Fairfield Road and Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Church.
