Lori Anne Schreiter
February 22, 1971 ~ May 18, 2019
Lori Anne Schreiter, 48, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019 surrounded by her family and friends after a six years battle with breast cancer. She was born on February 22, 1971, the daughter of Gordon Lee and Valayne Inez Halverson White. Lori grew up in Ogden, attended Polk Elementary, Mt. Ogden Junior High, and graduated from Ogden High School.
Lori married Derek Curt Schreiter on June 19, 1999 in Las Vegas, NV.
She worked at FedEx as a courier for over 20 years, and spent most of that time in the Ogden Station surrounded by wonderful people. Her family wishes to thank them for giving so much love and kindness in her time of need.
Lori blessed every life she encountered and will be loved, missed, and celebrated by all who knew her. Lori had an amazing sense of humor and stayed positive no matter what struggle she was facing. Lori was an avid gardener and loved spending time outdoors.
Lori is survived by her husband, Derek Schreiter of Ogden, UT; son, Alex Schreiter of Ogden, UT; daughter, Hailey Schreiter of Ogden, UT; father, Gordon (Gerry) White of Farr West, UT; brothers, Edward (Lorna) White of Warrensburg, MO and Mike White of Eden, UT; and sister, Michele (Scott) Beutler of Cottonwood Heights, UT. She was preceded in death by her mother.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 8, 2019 from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Union Grill, 315 24th Street, Ogden, UT. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
