Lorin Fred Friedli
February 22, 1928 ~ October 12, 2017
Lorin Fred Friedli returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Ogden George E. Wahlen VA Care Center. He was born, the only son, Fredrick Alma and Emilie “Millie” Speth Friedli on February 22, 1928 in Logan, Utah.
He spent his lifetime residing at the family home. He made his career in wood construction. He was educated through the Logan school system. He served his country in the Korean War, stationed in Japan.
He enjoyed his many neighbors through the years especially finding joy in the children who visited. He liked working his garden and sharing its produce. He enjoyed keeping his cars in good running order and helping his friends and neighbors with their projects. Meeting with friends and staff members at “Angie’s” Restaurant was a daily treat for many years. He was a special caregiver to his mother in the years following his father’s death.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Logan City Cemetery. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.
May he rest in peace until we can all be together again!
We give special thanks to the staff at Angie’s Restaurant, to the staff at the George E. Wahlen VA Care Center, and to the staff of Bristol Hospice Care Unit.
