LAYTON a€" Lorlee Vowles Simmons, 90, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009.

She was born January 23, 1919 in Farmington, Utah the daughter of George William and Eloise Frances Schulter Vowles. Lorlee attended school in Davis County.

Lorlee married Robert Dean Simmons on June 26, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on October 22, 2004.

She is survived by two sons, Bob (Sandra) Simmons, Bill (Jeannie) Simmons, Layton; daughter, LeeAnn (Rudy) Puzey, Sugar City, ID; 11 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Doris Stover, Lillian Carter and brother, Frank Vowles.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Layton Heritage Ward, 725 So. 200 E. Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
