Lorna Mae Fowers Diersman

Lorna Mae Fowers Diersman lived a full and unexpectedly healthy, long life. Lorna, 92, passed away on January 28, 2016. She was born on February 28, 1923 to Fredrick and Effie Mitchell Fowers in Hooper, Utah. She lived in Hooper for 24 years, Kaysville for 56 years, and Ogden for 12 years.

Lorna graduated from High School and attended Business College. She worked as a secretary at the Naval Supply Depot. Lorna married George Diersman on September 13, 1947 and together they had two sons. She loved to go camping, fishing, and enjoyed crocheting, and playing bingo. She attended the Valley View Baptist Church.

Lorna is survived by her son, Allan George (Kellie) Diersman; grandchildren, Jason (Jenn McBride) Diersman, Angie (Brent Dickey) Diersman, and Marty (Susan) Fahncke; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Farr, Brandie (Shawn) Lazaro, Maya (Christopher) Martinkus, Noah Fahncke, Ian Fahncke; and great-great-grandchildren, Sydnie Johnson, Olive Martinkus, and Audrie Lazaro.

Lorna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers; and one son, Fredrick Diersman who passed away at childbirth.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 S. State St. Friends may gather with the family on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
