Lorna Christensen Hardman

Lorna Christensen Hardman passed away peacefully on April 20, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. She was born to Austin and Helen Christensen on January 10, 1940 in Central, ID. She was the youngest of four children and grew up in Grace, ID until her family moved to Logan, UT when she was in Junior High.
She attended Logan High School where she met her eternal sweetheart, Wendell Hardman, son of James and Lilly Hardman. They were married on February 12, 1960 in the Logan Temple and were blessed with a daughter, Genae; and a son, David (Melissa).
She was very outgoing and loved to socialize. She had a contagious sense of humor and people loved to be with her. She loved the beautiful things of this earth and had a passion for home decorating, gardening, and serving others. She was active in the LDS Church and served in many different callings. Her two favorite callings were serving as a Stake Relief Society President and serving with her husband in a branch at the Harrison Regent’s Assisted Living Center in Ogden, UT.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother Austin Jr. Christensen, and sister, Colleen Hansen. She is survived by her husband, daughter, son, brother Vernon J. Christensen (Edith), eleven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Burch Creek 4th Ward, 4955 Adams Avenue South Ogden, UT, 84403. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment at 2:30 p.m. at Logan City Cemetery, 1000 N. 1200 E Logan, UT 84321. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
