WEST HAVEN a" Our beloved grandmother, mother, sister, and wife, Lorna Faye Peterson Moscatiello, returned home to her Heavenly Father on Friday, April 17, 2009 after her courageous battle with cancer. She went home to our beloved Savior while surrounded by her loved ones.
Lorna was born to loving parents, Benjamin Leroy and Larene Louise Wilhelm Peterson on January 19, 1936. Lorna was the fifth of 11 children. She grew up in Lewiston, Utah where she attended North Cache High School and was the pitcher for the Lady Shamrocks.
Lorna met and married Ernest LaMoyne Speth of College Ward, Utah, on September 7, 1955. They were later divorced. Lorna later married the love of her life, Richard Moscatiello, on April 8, 1994 and their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. "Grandpa thanks for loving Grandma Faye so much".
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Lorna enjoyed watching the Utah Jazz, sewing, gardening, baking, singing in the church choir, and she was the BEST cook. She worked at Sandy''s Fine Foods for 15 years. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored her every waking moment. She warmed the hearts of all who knew her and put a smile on their face. She will be dearly missed by all of us.
