OGDEN a€" Lorraine Allen, 62, died Saturday, November 6, 2010 at her home in Ogden.

She was born October 26, 1948 in Ogden, a daughter of Ivan Joseph and Erna Neves Allen.

Lorraine lived in Salt Lake City, St. George, and in Ogden for the majority of her life.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Eccles Park Ward.

She worked for the Internal Revenue Service for many years.

Lorraine enjoyed reading, genealogy, and was an avid football and basketball fan.

Surviving are her brother, Kent J. (Loretta) Allen, Greenville, UT; one nephew, Ryan J. (Amy) Allen, McKinney, TX; her niece, Sarah M. (Benjamin) Erwin, St. George; and a former sister-in-law, Claudia (Bill) Allen-Kidder.

Preceding Lorraine in death were her parents and her twin sister, Lorene Allen.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Family will visit with friends at the mortuary on Friday one hour prior to services.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
