OGDEN a€" Ida Lorraine Wilkinson Burdett, 83, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at her home.

She was born April 20, 1927 in Preston, Idaho, the youngest of six children of Samuel C. and Ida S. Wilkinson. She moved to Ogden with her family that same year where she since resided. She graduated from Ogden High School and attended Utah State University.

Lorraine married Dr. Ray Burdett on October 11, 1962 and they are the parents of two sons, James T. (Katie) Burdett, Rolla, MO; Laurence S. (Rebbi) Burdett, Ogden; and five grandchildren, Emily, Mollie, Eliza, Kennidy and Gage. Ray preceded her in death in April of this year.

She began working in her father''s business a€" Wilkinson Farm Service a€" and continued until it closed in 1978. She also managed her father''s farm in West Haven up until the time of her death.

Lorraine was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she held many callings; her favorite of which was Webelo Scout Leader.

She was a member of the Ogden Golf and Country Club and Eccles Art Center. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her valued friends.

Surviving are her children and grandchildren.

Preceding Lorraine in death were her parents and siblings, LaVaun Wilkinson Terry, Don Wilkinson, Melvin Wilkinson, Sterling Wilkinson and Keith Wilkinson.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Family will visit with friends at the mortuary on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
