Lorraine Owen Jacobs

Lorraine Owen Jacobs, 83, passed away February 21, 2008 at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA.

He was born on August 3, 1924 in Ogden , Utah to George F. and Helen Owen Jacobs. He grew up in Morgan, Utah. His family moved back to Ogden in 1942.

Owen graduated form Ogden High. Shortly after his graduation, he enlisted in the Army. He served eight years in Germany, France and Korea.

After leaving the Army he attended a photography school in Los Angeles, California. He was a creative and talented photographer. He worked many years for the LA County Fire department as a photographer.

He is survived by 2 aunts, Ruth Jacobs, and Mrs. Grace Salimeno, both of Ogden. Also surviving are many cousins, two special cousins, Lillian Jacobs Walker and Georgia Joanne Tanner.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 1st at 1 p.m. at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends and family may call at the mortuary from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
