Lorraine Nalder Johnson
LAYTON a" Lorraine Nalder Johnson, 63, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, June 9, 2008 after suffering from many illnesses.
She was born August 11, 1944 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Reed and Margaret Nalder.
She married the love of her life, Ron Johnson on February 2, 1960.
Lorraine loved the outdoors and all outdoor activities. She loved bingo, was an avid poker player, floral arranging and working with her hands. She was very talented and gifted with her crafts. For 48 years she had a close knit family she always put first.
Lorraine was very compassionate and would give the shirt off her back to a stranger in need. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. Although most of her 13 brothers and sisters lived out of state she always held them close to her heart and spoke of them often. She suffered tremendously over the last 10 years and she never complained. She always put her family first and herself last.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two nieces and a grandson.
She is survived by her husband Ron Johnson, two daughters, Lynda (Dale) Smith, LeAnn (Sergio) Regalado, four sons, Rick (Wendy) Ray, Ron, Royce (Amber) Johnson, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nine brothers and four sisters.
Special thanks to her husband, our dad, who spent the last 10 years caring for and pampering our mother. He cooked, cleaned, took her to doctor''s appointments and made sure she did not need anything. He made sure she took her medications and made her special meals to accommodate her health needs. He stood by her side until her passing.
Until we see you again, We Love You!
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
