Lorraine Bedier Reynolds

Lorraine B. Smith Reynolds passed away on July 24, 2024 in Layton, Utah at the age of 79. She was born September 15, 1944 in Price, Utah to Herbert J. and Mary L. Bedier Smith.  She attended Roy High School.

 She met and married Ed Reynolds in Roy, Utah.

 She retired from Hill Air Force Base. She also worked for the I.R.S. and the Soil Conservation Service in Roosevelt, Utah. She was a ditch rider while she lived in Roosevelt.

 Lorraine loved the outdoors, camping, and hunting, she loved all animals. She especially loved playing bingo and gambling when visiting in Las Vegas.

 She is survived by her four daughters; Yvonne (Ken) Liggett, Las Vegas, NV., Becky (Joe) Otterstrom, Clearfield, UT., Annette Reynolds, Syracuse, UT., Babette (Tim) Gaustad, Billings, MT., grandchildren; Sean (Amanda) Benson, Brandon Otterstrom, Zack (Manongi) Otterstrom, Christine Otterstrom, Eric Falk, Malena Falk, Matthew Pilarczyk, Alex Pilarczyk, and his husband Nicholas Mills, Cassandra (Dustin) Legare, Miranda (Randy) Maas, Kristine (John) McCarthy, Hayley (Austin) Bruns, great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Robbie Benson, Henry and Oliver, Ellie and Alaina Otterstrom, Berlin and Reagan McCarthy, Brody and Brantley Besst, Marshall Maas, Kali, Carter and Taylor Bruns, two nieces Marnie (Rob) Whitaker and Brenda Shaw.

 Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, brother Patrick Smith, her ex-husband Ed Reynolds, her partner of 20 years Marion Bird, her son-in-law(Whom she considered her own son) Terry Perkins, and her great-granddaughter McKenna Michelle Maas.

 Graveside services will be held Wednesday July 31, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary prior to the graveside.

 Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
