Lorraine, beloved by all passed away peacefully on October 17, 2018.
Survived by brother, Duane (Lavae) Evans, three children, Elaine (Steven) Talbot, Blaine (Kathy) Bowers, Lynette (Butch) Dowler and daughter-in-law, Sherl Bowers. She has 12 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Lorraine was born in Layton, Utah to Walter and Emma Evans and was married to Leland H. Bowers in the Logan Temple.
Lorraine graduated from Davis High School and went on to work various positions, as a professional baker for Safeway, then Salt Lake County. She retired from the Motor Vehicle Division with the State of Utah. She held positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a 10 year mission on Temple Square.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Emma Evans, husband, Leland H. Bowers, son, Dale Bowers, grandson, Chris Bowers and great-granddaughter, Emilee Talbot.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
