OGDEN a€" Lorraine Dortha Torman, 68, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at her home in Ogden.

She was born August 14, 1941 in Ogden, a daughter of Loran Franklin and Daisy Adele Rice Simmons. She attended Ogden High School.

She married Bill A. Conley on July 17, 1958 in Ogden. They were later divorced. She later married Jerry Rice and they were divorced. Lorraine married Tommy R. Torman on February 21, 1982 in Ogden. Lorraine was a homemaker and worked as a tailor.

Surviving are her husband, Tom, of Ogden; one son and two daughters, Jeffrey A. Conley, Lauri Dunning, and Karla Carlson, all of Ogden; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers and three sisters, David (Patti) Simmons, Roy; Michael (Terrie) Simmons, Clinton, MO; Linda Simmons, Ogden; Sherry (John) Salimbene, Ogden; Tina (Johnny) Haynes, Ogden.

Preceding Lorraine in death were her parents, daughter, Terri Jo Ptacek, three sisters, Julie, Gwen and Lavon, and one grandson, Daniel Dunning.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday 12:45 to 1:45 a.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd..
