Louis Arteaga Jr.

Louis F. Arteaga Jr., passed away March 25, 2021 in Tampa, Florida.

He was born January 22, 1956 the son of Louis F. Arteaga Sr. and Delores Flores Arteaga in Chicago, Illinois.

Louis resided in Chicago for 41 years, Utah 22 years and Florida for 3 years.

He married Claudia Mendoza.  She preceded him in death on August 25, 2012.  He married Olga Alekseyevna Pchelina.

Louis was a small business owner for over 20 years as an owner/operator and contractor for Fed-Ex and was an investor in various small businesses.

He loved vacationing and relaxing.

Surviving are his wife Olga Arteaga, Bradenton, FL; sons, Louis (Katie) Arteaga III, Syarcuse, Diego Arteaga, Layton; two grandchildren, Thomas Viktor Arteaga, Nataliya Arteaga, brothers, Tony Arteaga, Mario Arteaga, sisters, Trisha Mendez, Debbie Arteaga and Mary Orneles Arteaga.

Preceded in death by his wife Claudia.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
