Louis Ameen Khoury Jr. "Pappy"
Louis Ameen Khoury Jr. passed away September 13, 2009 after battling an illness.
Born September 24, 1944 in Norfolk, Virginia to Louis Ameen Sr. and Deborah Carlease Bugger Khoury. He was married to Rose Ellen Eckersley on August 9, 1969.
He attended schools in the Davis County area graduating from Davis High School. He also attended the University of Miami. He served an LDS mission in the Southern Region.
He worked in the trucking industry and also did work in finance management. Most recently he worked for Disney and Orange Lake Golf Course, which he loved.
Louis enjoyed traveling he has visited every state except Alaska. He resided in Utah, California but most recently lived in Florida.
He loved playing golf and baseball. He was also a great magician. Louis was a very proud father and pappy. He could always be found bragging about his children; Alisha K (Blake) Foreman, Louis Ameen III (Kathy) Khoury, Christopher Edward Khoury, Joseph Paul Khoury, Analyn K (Darrell) Morreale and grandchildren McKenzie, Jaxon, Isabelle, Samantha, Rose, Kaden and Denver. He also is survived by one sister Karin K. Coursey and nieces and nephews who he loved very much.
We will miss his witty humor and charming smile. We love you Dad!
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to offset funeral expenses.
