Louise Galbraith Brandell

Louise Galbraith Brandell, 80, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Legacy Village of Layton. She was born August 1, 1932 in Layton, the daughter of Spencer and Jenness Hill Galbraith.

Louise married Jim Brandell on August 31, 1956 in Layton, Utah. He passed away on January 19, 2012.

She was a telephone operator at Hill Air Force Base for many years and was a member of the LDS Church. She loved cross-stitch, collecting Polish pottery, sewing, and shopping on QVC!

She is survived by her son, Bart (Vicki) Brandell, Twin Falls, ID; daughter Cari (Tom) Zocco, Los Alamos, NM; and nine grandchildren: Nick, Adam, Matt, Brandon, Ryan, Jeremy, Justin, Krista and Tyler. Preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents, brother Leland Galbraith, nephew Cort Galbraith and niece Leann Galbraith.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 2 p.m. Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. where friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to services.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
