Louise Carmen Jones Sherrod

Louse Carmen Jones Sherrod, 88, passed away in the early morning of March 22, 2014. She was born in Shelley, Idaho on May 21, 1925, along with her twin brother, Llewellyn “Bud” Jones, to Louise Clara Clow and Llewellyn Croxton Jones. She had a loving family of six brothers and three sisters. She attended Shelley Schools, Ogden Business College, and Stevens-Henager Business College. Louise married her loving husband John Sherrod on October 2, 1944, who passed away on May 17, 1981. Together they had their only child, the late Stephen Richard Sherrod.
Louise, affectionately called, “Aunt Sis”, was a passionate daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She stayed very close to all her family throughout her life. She was especially close to her sister Peggy who was by her side most of her later years in Mesquite, Nevada and Eden, Utah.
Louise is survived by her sister, Peggy Jones Brooks, Ogden; brothers, Francis Jones, Sunsites, AZ; and Don Jones, Richland, WA; granddaughter, Stacy Ann Fisher, Plain City; great-granddaughters, Alex and Abby Fisher; and many nieces and nephews, who she was very close to.
“At my request, there will be no public funeral or graveside services. I wish to thank each one of my family, friends, and loved ones for their part in making my life happy and fulfilling. I’ll love you forever.” Louise

The family would like to thank the staff at Eden Beehive Homes and Symbii Home Health and Hosipce for their kindness and care for Louise in her final days.
