CLEARFIELD a€" Louise Bartschi Stucki, 81, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007.

She was born on March 30, 1926 in Nounan, Idaho the daughter of Leo Fredrick and Enes Koeven Bartschi. She grew up in Sharon, Idaho.

Louise left this life with her beloved husband of 63 years by her side. She married Wallace Peterson Stucki during World War II on October 26, 1944, in Redwood City, California. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Louise and Wallace''s married life together started in Paris, Idaho and then moving to Clearfield, Utah where they spent 55 years. She was a member of the LDS Church and served faithfully throughout her lifetime in various capacities.

Louise was a member of the Daughter of the Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed her monthly ladies "Club" for many years. She had a beautiful alto voice and was a member of the "Singing Mothers."

Louise enjoyed camping with her children. Her knowledge of knitting, sewing, cooking and housekeeping made for a happy home.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Wallace Peterson Stucki and their six children, Steven (Sherri), Mountain View, WY; Kathryn Stucki, Mountain View, CA; Lund (Kathy) Kingman, AZ; Nancy (Randy) Matkin, Clearfield; Wynn (Lisa), Hooper; and Tina (Tim) Pfuhl, Layton; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents and granddaughters, Jessica and Emily.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 14, 2007 at 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Paris, Idaho. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the LDS General Missionary Fund.
