LouJean B. Umiljenovich
WASHINGTON TERRACE - Our beloved mother and grandmother, LouJean Brown Umiljenovich, 80, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008.
She was born April 25, 1928, in Ogden, to Moroni E. and Mary Delores Jesperson Brown. She had eight brothers and sisters and was a lifelong resident of the Ogden area.
LouJean married Michael M. Umiljenovich on April 29, 1945 in Ogden. They raised four children, Stephen M. Umiljenovich, Brenda (Joe) Kane, Julie (Aaron) Huffman, and Lisa (Jerry) Foster. She has 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
LouJean loved gardening with her husband Mike and she was an excellent homemaker. She found joy in having a happy, loving, and organized home. Along with gardening, she loved to cook, sew, crochet, and read.
LouJean is survived by her children, grandchildren, one brother, Ronald, and one sister, Bonnie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike, brothers, Eldon and Buddy, and sisters, Dolores, Marilyn, Edith, and Kate.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
