Lowell Luther Stockberger, 88, passed away on April 18, 2018. He was born on February 2, 1930, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, the son of Luther Sherman and Jennie Mae Lowman Stockberger. He grew up in Ladysmith, WI, where he attended school through the 8th Grade.

He married Constance “Connie” Walker on March 3, 1951, in Ogden, Utah.

Lowell was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a Boy Scout Leader, Ward Mission Leader, and Young Men Leader. He was also a member of the Lions Club.

He served in the USAF from September of 1950 to September of 1970, and retired as a SSGT from HAFB where he worked in transportation and logistics at Hill Air Force Base.

Lowell is survived by his wife of 67 years, Connie Stockberger; sons, Steven (Jean) Stockberger and Dennis (Brenda) Stockberger; and daughter, Tonya (Mark) Coy, all of Ogden; 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters, his in-laws, Clifford and Verda Hilton Walker; one grandson, Justin Stockberger; and great-granddaughter, Hope Baldwin.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Aultorest Memorial Park. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
