LuAnna S. Mason WASHINGTON TERRACE – LuAnna Seavey Mason, 74, former resident of Washington Terrace, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in Tempe, Arizona of cancer. She was born June 13, 1933 in Stacyville, Maine, a daughter of Arthur and Edna Peterson Seavey. On August 6, 1955, LuAnna married John F. Mason in Maine. John preceded her in death on August 4, 2006. She was raised and educated in Maine moving to Washington Terrace 45 years ago. She lived in Salome, Arizona for the past six months. LuAnna enjoyed crocheting and quilting. Surviving are one son and one daughter, Carl Mason, Ogden; Karen Mason Crooks, Queen Creek, AZ; and four grandchildren, Lindsey Crooks, Nicole Crooks, Bailey Ray Mason and John Dylan Mason. Also surviving are two sisters, Linda Babbidge, Salome, AZ; and Elsena Hollody, Rochester, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and three sisters, Carlene Thoits, Yetta Butler and Betty Martin.
