Lucille Bodily
May 4, 1935 – November 17, 2017
Lucille Bodily passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2017.
She was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho until her senior year of high school when she and her family moved to Provo Utah. She graduated from Provo High.
On August 26, 1955, Lucille married Earl Bodily. They were sealed for eternity in the Logan LDS Temple on August 20, 1964.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She especially loved teaching her Sunbeam Class.
With great anticipation, she looked forward to Christmas! She loved sewing pajamas for all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved camping and traveling with her family. Her favorite place to travel was Yellowstone. She was always looking for ways to help others. She loved everyone and was always ready to make a difference in someone’s life. Her days were filled attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s events, taking them shopping and out to lunch!
Lucille had a heart of gold! She loved to love! She loved people and being surrounded by her family. That’s what this week has been. Days full of family, tender memories and stories shared, tears and laughter. So much love has filled her room.
She is survived by her husband, Earl, Clinton; three sons and one daughter: Kelly (Marilyn), Clinton; Linda (Lee) Webster, Clinton; Wayne, Roy; Delvon (Kim), Roy; 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one daughter-in-law. We would like to express our gratitude to the staff of Country Pines and Envision Hospice for their care and assistance.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday, November 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
