Lucille Beckstead Dalton

In loving memory of Lucille Beckstead Dalton, beloved mother and grandmother. Born February 13, 1919 ~ Died June 13, 2008.

She resided at Mount Ogden Nursing home where she was under the care for Alzheimers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, her husband of 35 years Virgil Ruel Beckstead and of 10 years Roy Dalton. Her two sons Dale Beckstead and Dennis Beckstead also preceded her in death.

She is survived by son Lamont Beckstead, wife Ludeen, her daughter Diane Sifuentes, husband Daniel, daughters-in-law Christine Beckstead and Connie Beckstead, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her family, her greatest joy came from serving Jehovah God as one of Jehovah''s Witnesses for over 40 years. As a faithful student of the Bible she trusted in Gods promises and found peace in such scriptures as Revelation 21: 3-4.

Of the many blessings she received she enjoyed the gift of music. She played guitar, accordion, harmonica and piano and enjoyed writing music, dedicating many of them to her Heavenly Father Jehovah. In her early years she recorded a record and performed on the radio.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to her spiritual brothers and sisters for their care, prayers and many visits. Also appreciated was the care she received by Mount Ogden Nursing Home and Inspiration Hospice Care.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 333 West 7th Street, Ogden, Utah. Officiated by Brother John Gruber.
