Lucille A. Parker
1926-2016
Our dear sweet Mom, Lucille A. Parker, 89, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016.
She was born April 4, 1926 in Bountiful, Utah the daughter of Floyd and Sylvia Pace Argyle. She married the love of her life, Jay W. Parker January 3, 1945 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Lou was a wonderful, loving, caring wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was the most important thing in her life. Lou and Jay traveled to many places with her siblings. They raced thoroughbreds for years at many different race tracks. Their favorite spot to be was their cabin on Bear Lake, which they enjoyed for many, many years. Lou lived on Center Street her whole life and bolstered that to everyone she knew. Later on her favorite possession was her Red Jeep. She loved that Jeep! Lucille was a wonderful homemaker and kept the most beautiful lawn in the whole neighborhood.
Our Mom/Grandma “Lou Lou” was definitely one of a kind! We will truly miss you.
“Toodaloo for now!”
She is survived by her sons Bruce L. Parker (Marjie), Steve W. Parker (Jeff Hayes), and daughter-in-law Shauna Parker. Preceded in death by her husband Jay W. Parker, son F.J. Parker and great grandson Cody Michael Adams.
A special thanks to Apple Village Care Center and Symbii Hospice for their loving care of Lucille.
