LuDean Stuart Jenkins "Together Again"

LuDean Stuart Jenkins, 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born August 27, 1928 in Wellsville, Utah to Thomas Hendry and Vera Baily Murray Stuart.

She married Blaine LaVon Jenkins on January 10, 1947 in the Logan LDS Temple. Blaine and LuDean lived in Buhle, Idaho, and Roy, Utah before settling in Washington Terrace. Blaine passed away on September 19, 1992 after 45 wonderful years together.

LuDean belonged to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the gospel and served faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher, Primary President, Counselor in Relief Society, Visiting Teacher, Inservice Leader, Den Mother, Primary Teacher, on the Primary Stake Board, and Relief Society President.

She enjoyed serving as the PTA President, a voting judge, and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She loved sewing, crocheting, quilting, and baking for her family and friends.

LuDean is survived by her sons, Rick (Suzan) Jenkins, Clinton, and Douglas (Holly) Jenkins, Plain City; daughters, Marsha (Edwin) Burr, North Ogden, Karen (Randy) Taylor, Washington Terrace, and Melinda Klev, Salt Lake City; 19 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and sister, Betty (Dean) Haslam, Wellsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine LaVon Jenkins; parents, Thomas Hendry and Vera Bailey Stuart; brother, Thomas Stuart; sisters, Susie (Brig) Morse, Louise Bernston, Beatrice (Vernon) Perkins, Vera, Margaret and Connie, and one grandchild, Kimberly.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
